How to Find the Best Free Unsplash Images
Are you spending too much time searching for free high quality images for your blog or social media? Try these simple hacks to find the best images for your content!
Here are three tips to help you find the best Unsplash images quickly!
Plus a list of my favorite collections that will help you find your brand colors!
Finding images to use on your website, social media, or your digital products can take some time! That’s why I’ve created a little tutorial for you that will help you zip through finding images that are totally on brand without wasting hours of time!
1) Create an Unsplash Account
Don’t worry, it’s free! Creating an account will help you save so much time! You can heart all of your favorite photos and add them into collections. This is important! I thought if I downloaded the images it would be enough.
Well, storage was tight on my mac and I deleted tons of photos. A week later, I needed a specific photo and I had to scour all of unsplash to find it! Be smarter than me and create an account. 😊
2) Search Collections
If you have a specific theme or color in mind, type it into the search bar. Of course, Unsplash well deliver thousands of amazing images, but you can cut your search time in half but using this nifty trick, search by collections.
Right under the search bar, there’s a tab called Collections. Click it and you will receive tons of pre-created collections of your desired theme made by other people. Yup, someone has already done for you and all you need to do is save it for later!

3) Search a Users Profile
Did ya find an unbelievable photo and wondering if you can get your hands on more? Well, I love clicking on the Photographers profile that appears on the bottom left-hand corner of the image.
Not only will you likely find more photos exactly like the one you fell in love with, but you’ll see their entire collection that mimics the same style and color scheme of the original photo!
